A Call to Salvation first began in the home of Arlene and Vernard Smith as a neighborhood Bible study in July of 1996. Soon, the growing fellowship moved into their first building located on Highway 11 in Jefferson, Georgia. Pastor Arlene Smith, ordained through ACTS International Ministries in October 1999, stepped into the role of Senior Pastor conducting A Call to Salvation’s first Sunday morning service December 1999.

As the church grew property was purchased and the construction of a new sanctuary, children’s church and fellowship area were completed. A Call to Salvation continues to walk in their Luke 4:18 mandate to, preach the gospel, heal the brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the captives, recover sight to the blind and set free those who are oppressed.

Today, A Call to Salvation continues to extend ministry to partners and community alike. Our doors are open and you have a standing invitation to join us in service Sunday's at 10AM, prayer Tuesday's at 9AM and Bible study each Wednesday at 7PM. Come learn, grow and experience the Kingdom of God in action.
